Justin Verlander Can Now Buy the Vowels for His License Plate, Pat

jv

As you know, Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander signed a meager extension with the team this past off-season worth $75 million that will keep him as the Tigers ace for another five years and keep food on his family’s table.   Alas, it’s time to update that eyesore SL 55 he calls his whip and fill in the missing letters on that bad ass license plate (Yessss, I know there’s only a specific number of spaces and ‘i’ is usually not allowed because it confuses blind and stupid people with the number one).  The license plate seemed cocky when he strolled into camp his rookie season with it, but it’s certainly speaking troof now.  Let’s hope he’s ‘brngn it’ at, like, 110 MPH this year and at a 25 win clip.  You know this, Morneau?
