Golf Channel Has Action From All Five Tours This Week

Golf Channel will be all over the sport this week with coverage of all five professional tours, PGA, PGA European Tour, LPGA, Champions and Nationwide. A lot of the coverage will be live as well so that’s a good thing. Here’s the release.

  • Walk and Talk Debuts – Golf Channel will debut its “Walk and Talk” production feature on the LPGA Tour this week at the Bell Micro LPGA Classic. On-course reporters Val Skinner and Stephanie Sparks will interview players as they are walking the fairways.  Golf Channel currently features “Walk and Talk” during its Champions Tour coverage.
  • Jane Crafter to Make Golf Channel Debut– Veteran LPGA Tour professional and NBC golf commentator Jane Crafter will make her Golf Channel debut this week as a tower analyst.  Crafter will work six events for Golf Channel in 2010.
  • Karen Stupples Mic’d Up – LPGA Tour professional Karen Stupples will be mic’d up during Thursday’s round of play and will be the network’s “Spotlight Player” during Thursday’s live tournament coverage.
