Right now, here as we get ready to close out the first quarter of the season, Vick and the Eagles defense are a dynamic combination, WAY above average on both sides of the passing wars and, therefore, No. 1 in Passer Rating Differential. Still a long way to go this year, but top of the world is a nice place to be, even here at the end of September and beginning of October.

Philly Phans don’t have to look far to find their top potential Super Bowl competition from the AFC: it’s right there in the form of the Colts. Indianapolis has consistently fielded a top offense and top defense in recent years and they’re doing it again this year. If they can channel that energy for once into a string of great performances out of their quarterback in the postseason, they’ll be a truly dangerous team.
