Phil B on the bumps and bruises
LB Gary Brackett (groin) — While Brackett spoke to us during the week, his DNP listing all week as well as coach Jim Caldwell saying rookie Pat Angerer would be ready to step in if needed suggests the defensive captain might miss. I’m now leaning toward him sitting out, although that’s a lean, not a strong vibe. This guy is such a fighter, I’m guessing if he sits it’s because the team wants to be careful. If it were up to him, I suspect he would want to tough it out.
