Denard Robinson Named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year; Next Stop, New York City

Here’s a question for you: does Denard Robinson tie his dress shoes? He didn’t need to earlier this evening when he was named the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Year by both the coaches and the media.

Going back to my original question: if Michigan fans have a say, Robinson will need to bust out the iron and shoe polish if he heads to New York City for the Heisman trophy presentation. Going by the actual definition of the award, Robinson truly is one of the most outstanding players in the country and deserves the invite. Being that Michigan is 7-5, Robinson has no shot and probably won’t even be among the top 3 vote-getters. Still, Wolverine fans have to like that Robinson is only a sophomore and will only improve on a record-breaking season.
