UFC 125 Salaries: Edgar Unanimous Winner

The winner, by unanimous decision, Frankie “The Answer” Edgar.  That is what Bruce Buffer probably should have said at the end of UFC 125’s main event, but, alas, the judges decided otherwise.  But the UFC’s Lightweight Champ was the unanimous monetary winner at UFC 125, pocketing $162,000 for his troubles (both Edgar and Gray Maynard were awarded their win bonuses despite their match being ruled a draw.)

Overall, UFC 125  was an expensive shindig for Zuffa, with fighter salaries totalling $1,112,000.  Here is how it was dished out:

Frankie Edgar: $162,000 ($51,000 to show, $51,000 win bonus, $60,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Clay Guida: $122,000 ($31,000 to show, $31,000 win bonus, $60,000 Submission of the Night bonus)

Gray Maynard: $112,000 ($26,000 to show, $26,000 win bonus, $60,000 Fight of the Night bonus)

Thiago Silva: $110,000 ($55,000 to show, $55,000 win bonus)

Jeremy Stephens: $96,000 ($18,000 to show, $18,000 win bonus, $60,000 Knockout of the Night bonus)

Dong Hyun Kim: $70,000 ($35,000 to show, $35,000 win bonus)

Brandon Vera: $60,000

Takanori Gomi: $50,000

Chris Leben: $46,000
