Cap Geek adds that it’s too early to say how much cap space the Rangers would have with Frolov on long term IR. Minimum $4 million today and $8.8 million (cap hit) on deadline day.

…Sather’s done a great job this year opening up much needed cap space that could prove very beneficial come trade deadline time.
