Rozsival, Newbury Skating (Update)

Update, 1:04 p.m.:
Newbury on what he brings to the table

“I’m a guy who creates energy out there, give the team some momentum…it fits into their style, so it’s nothing new to me”

Update, 12:55 p.m.:
Torts will continue to use Chris Drury the way Team USA did in the Olympics last year.

…hey I just said that the other day.

Update, 12:50 p.m.:
Rozsival couldn’t make it through practice and probably won’t play tomorrow.

While Ryan Callahan & Vinny Prospal both skated yesterday on their own, & Torts says next step is for them to skate with coaches.

On the injury front, Alex Frolov will be headed to LTIR.

Torts on the injuries

“It can’t affect us & it won’t affect us”

Update, 11:28 a.m.:

The rest of the lines remain the same as against the Blues.

Original Post:
@thenyrangers tweets that Michal Rozsival, who missed last two games with sore ribs, is taking part in practice.

Kris Newbury is skating on line with Chris Drury and Dale Weise.

…McD has been good in his first two NHL games, should be interesting to see what Torts does tomorrow night against the Habs.
