NFL to leave mark

Kravitz talks about the work the NFL is doing around town

It will be called the legacy project, and it will be the biggest, most expensive Super Bowl-inspired program yet. It is funded by $60 million in grants. There will be the Youth Education Town, a facility that will provide local residents with a gigantic, $11.2 million facility — a massive rec center with fitness opportunities, educational programs and other accoutrements their neighborhood lacks. It will be 27,000 square feet, the biggest and most expensive in NFL history, and it will be housed on the Tech High School campus. The facility will be owned by the John H. Boner Community Center and will partner with Indianapolis Public Schools.
