Go ahead and pretend you saw this coming tonight.

The Celtics and Jazz played a fast-paced, up-and-down game that featured a lot of offense and not much defense… but ultimately ending in a 107-102 Celtics win.

Ray Allen was unconcious from 3… shooting 5 of 8… 2 of them daggers late in the 4th.  The second of them was a wild, off balance 3 with about 55 seconds left.  He finished with 25.

The Celtics kinda took turns in each of these quarters.  The first quarter belonge to Nenad Krstic of all people.  10 of his 11 points came in the first, prompting wild "Perk who?" overreactions everywhere.  Paul Pierce dropped 16 of his 21 points in the second.  10 of KG's 18 came in the third.  KG, by the way, scored his 23,000th point in this one.  Congrats to him on the milestone.  He also had 14 rebounds.

Rajon Rondo played an interesting game.  After passing up easy layups early in the game, he started bombing away jumpers in the second half.  He hit a big one with 24 seconds left that pretty much iced it.  He ended up with 16 and 11 assists.  Rondo was also jawing with the refs a LOT in this game.  I'm surprised he didn't get a tech.

Jeff Green had 5 points in 19 minutes.  Doc is still tinkering with him, playing him at the 2, 3 and 4 spots.  He really didn't do much, but he did have a highlight, chase-down block.

Glen Davis was pretty bad in this game.  He had as many turnovers as he did rebounds (4) and he had 5 fouls while playing some pretty poor defense.  He looked tired out there.  He just wasn't there at all tonight.

The C's still need a lot of work on their defense with the new guys.  Guys were getting lost all over the place.  Al Jefferson was the beneficiary, torching the C's for 28 points and 19 rebounds.  Andrei Kirilenko (18 points) also seemed to be hanging from the rim a lot tonight.  Devin Harris dropped 19… mostly in transition where he was blowing by everyone.
