Michigan Destroys Tennessee, Sets Up Duke Matchup with Major Fab Five Drama

30 point margin. No free throws. One posterizing dunk that will live on for years in Michigan basketball lore.

(OK maybe not so much on that third part, but let me have my fun for now.)

(Higher quality video here, via UM Hoops. Red tape, stealth mode, etc.)

Stu Douglass’ “wait, he can dunk?” moment blew the roof off of every bar in southeast Michigan en route to the largest margin of victory in 8-9 seed history. The victory not only marked the end of the Bruce Pearl era at Tennessee, it also set up a Duke-Michigan matchup that needed to happen ever since Jalen Rose muttered the words “Uncle” and “Tom” in close proximity during his* Fab Five documentary that aired last Sunday.

If Tim Hardaway calls Kyle Singler a bitch in the next 48 hours, shit’s going down.

*Rose was a producer, if I’m not mistaken, but not the director. It still counts.
