Matthew Rowe: Mo-bile, A-gile and Hos-tile

Bob Rickert’s “Random Recruit of the Week” is Matthew Rowe, a 6-2, 225-lb. linebacker from Long Beach Poly, Kenny Rowe’s little brother:

He pursues well, wraps up in the open field, and plays with aggressiveness and flair.  If the interviews and character evaluations come back positive, he will be a terrific prospect. 

MaxPreps rates him 235th in the country, and reports he had 45 tackles, 2 sacks and 2 interceptions last season.  The Tucson Citizen reports he’s considering Arizona State, which has already gotten commitments from four of his high school teammates at Long Beach, long a recruiting hotbed.
