2010 Bucs Lookback- Winslow Jr, Kellen

To this day you hear people talk about how the Glazers/ Bucs are cheap- do not spend in free agency. Well Even though Kellen Winslow Jr was a trade, the Bucs didn’t have to renew his contract; but they did; making him the highest paid tight end in football when they did.

Winslow is a product of The University of Miami, where he was taken by the Cleveland Browns with the 6th overall pick in the 2004 draft. He played behind Jeremy Shocky and when he got to start was an instant phenom.
