Longtime D4L readers know that we have a slight (read: huge) obsession with Texas Rangers relief pitcher Koji Uehara. We’ve been keeping track of Uehara’s facial hair since last season, and provided an update when he made an appearance against the Tigers earlier this year. Having recently been dealt to the Rangers, Uehara felt that he needed to add a little pizzazz to his look.
Yup, that’s a goatee. Unfortunately for him, it may be taking away from his super samurai powers, as he gave up a solo home run to the normally pitiful Ryan Raburn. Still, he looks pretty badass (especially now that his sideburns actually look like sideburns). Keep on hustlin’, Koji.
