Jaguars Release David Garrard, Will Start Sunshine at Quarterback Instead

The Jacksonville Jaguars pulled a stunner earlier today when they released QB David Garrard just 5 days before they open their season against the Tennessee Titans. The Jags are hopeful that rookie Blaine “Sunshine” Gabbert (from Remember the Titans, it’s him, IMDB that shit) can lead the team out of last place and into a distant third behind the Colts and Texans. However, the locker room could get awkward very quickly if he continues to pull stunts like this.

Ignore the fact that Gabbert is a righty and that Luke McCown is actually the starter. Gabbert looks way too much like this guy to be denied. Plus, you don’t do that to Gerry Bertier without having the stones to back it up on the field.
