After weeks of “will he? won’t he?” from ESPN, the Indianapolis Colts announced that QB Peyton Manning will not play in Week 1. While Colts fans are understandably pessimistic about their season now, the rest of us are concerned about what really matters: our fantasy teams. Check out the devastation I’m currently dealing with.
And if you think that’s bad, check out this team, where my backup QB is Alex Smith (Important note: I did not draft this team. My dad trusted some random 14-year old kid to pick the team instead of calling me for my esteemed opinion. Drafting from 500 miles away sucks. Also, I have no idea how I ended up with Wes Welker and Matt Bryant on 3 teams this season.)
So you’ll see why I’ll be in a salty mood come Sunday afternoon, but what about you? How bad is your fantasy situation now that Peyton Manning won’t be shredding the Texans defense for 300+ and 3 TDs?
