Apparently Billy Zane likes long-tenured Tiger infielders. Just like our buddy Ramon Santiago, Brandon Inge now has two walk-offs on the year.
With their ridiculous run lately, the Tigers have put themselves in position to not only pass Texas for 2nd in the AL (sort of), but possibly even catch the Red Sox and Yankees for best record in the AL.
I’m not getting my hopes up, but that’s not to say I won’t be a big Tampa Bay Rays fan over the next two weeks. 13 of their last 19 games are against the Sox and Yankees.
