The Tigers ended their homestand with a 5-1 record behind Brennan Boesch’s 2 hits and 4 RBI in a 7-2 win over the Tampa Bay Rays today. In ESPN’s alternate universe, some guy named “Brandon” Boesch also had a pretty good game.

Regardless of his first name, today was also Boesch’s 27th birthday. The Tigers head to Chicago tomorrow for a three game series against the White Sox.
