The Sacramento Kings have shown up in force in Las Vegas. Jimmer Fredette, Thomas Robinson and Hassan Whiteside are on the summer league team, but their teammates are flying in from all over the country to lend their support.
DeMarcus Cousins was already in Las Vegas working out for the USA Select Team, but Marcus Thornton and Isaiah Thomas arrived just before last nights game and Tyreke Evans is expected later today.
This is all part of coach Smart’s attempt to build a family atmosphere with the team and honestly, I think it’s working.
We were able to catch up with a few of these players last night and over the next 24 hours, we will roll out a series of interviews, beginning with DeMarcus Cousins.
