It’s been a little over two weeks since the Sacramento Kings took the court for their season finale.  If you’re looking for a fix of live hoops action, a select few of them will be back on a local court this weekend playing for charity.

Jason Thompson, Travis Outlaw, Marcus Thornton and James Johnson are all expected to suit up in the 55th Annual Dimes Classic Men’s Basketball tournament taking place this weekend at Capital Christian High School.  Proceeds for the tournament will go toward supporting UC Davis Cancer Research.

The tournament has scheduled 21 games, the first of which tips off tomorrow night at 6:15 pm.  Thompson and Outlaw are expected to suit up and play in the opening game.  The Dimes Classic will conclude with a dunk contest on Sunday at 3 pm followed by two playoff games and a championship contest.

Admission is $6 for adults and $3 for kids five and up.  Free admission is being offered to youth AAU players with presentation of a valid AAU card at the door.  Cowbell Kingdom will be giving away a limited number of tickets throughout the weekend on our official Twitter account.  Be sure to follow us for a chance to win.
