What to watch

1. Coaching battle between Michael Malone and Mark Jackson

Malone returns to Golden State to coach against his former boss.  It will be interesting to see which coach can draw up the better game plan and make timely adjustments throughout the game.

2. Stephen Curry vs. the Kings’ point guard by committee

Curry is coming off a day’s rest after dropping 39 points and nine assists in a loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.  Meanwhile, the Kings are mixing it up at point guard with a tandem of Isaiah Thomas and Greivis Vasquez.  Thomas also lit up the Clippers in defeat, scoring 29 points off the Kings’ bench yesterday evening.

3. Can Ben McLemore find a rhythm in his third game?

After a stellar preseason, the Kings rookie has yet to find a groove through his first two games.  Against Denver, he scored just four points in 17 minutes.  Against the Clippers last night, McLemore finished with just two points and played less than 14 minutes.  He’ll once again have his hands full this evening with an elite defender like Andre Iguodala on his heels.
