Rookie Dennis Schroeder might be getting a call from the NBA offices today after what can only be described as a low blow to Kings center DeMarcus Cousins in Atlanta’s 105-100 victory last night in Sacramento.  We have seen this situation before, only in reverse.  Remember back on Dec. 11 last year when Cousins was suspended one game for popping Dallas Mavericks guard O.J. Mayo below the belt?

“I took a cheap shot to my lower area,” Cousins told reporters from his locker after the game.  “They (the refs) just blew it off.  I guess because it was me.  But as soon as something happens on the other end, because it’s me, they run to the camera.”

While it shouldn’t be a joking matter, new Kings minority owner Shaquille O’Neal chimed in via Instagram, “Is this FLAGRANT OR A LOOSE BALL FOUL. GET IT.”  O’Neal even posted video of the incident.
