No surprise here. Miguel Cabrera has won the AL MVP for the second year in a row, the third straight year a Detroit Tiger has won MVP (Justin Verlander won it in 2011.) Hopefully Year 4 brings a World Series to Detroit (exactly 30 years since the last one.) Until then, pull up Cabrera's baseball reference page and dim the lights.
