What to watch

1. Can the Kings win without DeMarcus Cousins?

Cousins picked up a one game suspension for his actions in Wednesday night’s loss to the Houston Rockets.  The Kings are 0-8 on the season without their star center.  Can they finally pull one out with Cousins sitting on the sidelines?

2. Can the Kings get off to a better start?

Houston ran the Kings off the court in the first quarter of Wednesday’s loss.  James Harden single handedly outscored Sacramento 22-17 and his Rockets teammates dropped in another 20 in an embarrass first 12 minutes for the Kings on their home floor.  The Lakers want to run and if the Kings come out flat, this game could get out of control fast.

3. Does Orlando Johnson make his Kings debut?

Sacramento signed second-year free agent guard Orlando Johnson to a 10-day contract on Thursday with the hopes that he can add a defensive presence on the perimeter.  With the Lakers going small, it would be a good opportunity for the 24-year old former Indiana Pacer to get some burn as McLemore’s back up.
