What to watch

1. Do the Suns mail it in?

With an emotional loss to the Memphis Grizzlies that eliminated them from playoff contention on Monday night, will Phoenix bring their “A-game” to Sacramento.  Despite missing the playoffs, the Suns are the best story of the 2013-14 season.  Rookie head coach Jeff Hornacek and his team have run a 22-game improvement over last seasons 25 win total and they have done it with smoke and mirrors.

2. Can the Kings snap their winless streak without DeMarcus Cousins?

Sacramento is 0-10 on the season without Cousins in the line-up and unfortunately, he will miss the season finale due to suspension.  Jason Thompson will likely get the start in the middle and face an incredibly tough match-up against sharpshooting big man Channing Frye.

3. Is this the last game in Kings uniforms for Isaiah Thomas and Rudy Gay?

Gay has missed three of the Kings previous four contests due to a back injury and may not play on Wednesday.  He can also opt out of the final year of his deal with the Kings and walk into free agency this summer a very coveted man.  Thomas is a restricted free agent, but will the Kings match any offer for the 25-year-old point guard or will they let him walk? Expect a huge ovation from the Kings faithful for both of these players when the final horn sounds.
