Cowbell Kingdom Podcast Ep 142: James Herbert talks Toronto Raptors, Sacramento Kings and Rudy Gay

by Jonathan Santiago & James Ham

For an eighth consecutive season, the Sacramento Kings are not in the playoffs.  However, there is one series this postseason that features two teams with deep ties to the Kings.  Four of the five Kings’ opening night starters are playing significant roles in the first round match-up out east between the Toronto Raptors and Brooklyn Nets.  James Herbert, who writes about the NBA and the Raptors for SB Nation as well as TrueHoop, joins us this week to discuss how the former Kings are performing in this Eastern Conference playoff series.  We also hear James’ thoughts on Rudy Gay and why things didn’t work out for him in Toronto on this week’s edition of the Cowbell Kingdom Podcast presented by The Problematic.
