Why didn’t he come out and say this up front? Unless I missed it, he didn’t, and he should’ve — just like he should’ve showed up to the voluntary workouts as a leader of the defense. But he didn’t and thus, it was blown way out of proportion to the extent that some guy started a rumor that the Lions were unhappy and trying to trade him. It didn’t need to be like that.
Oh well.
Suh’s at OTAs now, Caldwell has come out and said Suh didn’t do anything wrong and Suh says he wants to be with the Lions long term. Let’s not blow everything up because it’s Suh and he doesn’t have a long-term contract yet.
