Rajai Davis hits walk off grand slam

We felt it all the way down in our plums, calling Billy Zane’s grand salami time moments before it happened like Nostradamus probably did many years ago.

Sean Doolittle entered the appearance with a 0.59 WHIP and only one walk issued over 39 innings of work. He gave up back-to-back singles to start the inning and walked Austin Jackson, who was 0-for-his-last-14, after striking out Suarez. Doolittle.

What a win on the 1984 celebration night. Coincidentally enough, the Tigers’ last walk off grand slam was 10 years ago on the 20th anniversary celebration night.
