The Sacramento Kings are trading Jason Terry. According to Yahoo! Sports, the Sacramento Kings have come to terms on deal to send the veteran point guard to the Houston Rockets.

The move appears to be a basic salary dump for the Sacramento Kings. In exchange for Terry, they will receive a package of non-guaranteed deals, including Alonzo Gee, according to Yahoo! Sports. As part of the trade, the Sacramento Kings will also send two second-round picks to Houston.

Along with power forward Reggie Evans, Terry was acquired by the Sacramento Kings in exchange for guard Marcus Thornton before last season’s trade deadline. The 36-year-old veteran never played for the franchise. Following the deal, he was given permission by the Sacramento Kings to rehab and work out at his home in Dallas for the remainder of the season.
