Three things to ponder

1. Slowing the break, part two

After losing to Golden State on Tuesday, the No. 1 club in fast break points per game, Sacramento hosts the No. 2 team in Phoenix. To help avoid getting burnt in consecutive contests, the Kings need to remain wary of the Suns’ 3-ball, which they launch at the second-highest clip in the league.

2. No charity

The Kings must channel their inner Scrooge and shy away from handing the Suns gift points. Phoenix doesn’t get to the free throw line often, but when they do, Eric Bledsoe and company lead the NBA in accuracy (80.1 percent).

3. Isaiah’s revenge?

Isaiah Thomas stumbled in his first match facing the Kings, producing four points on 1-of-4 field goals and four assists in 17 minutes. This will be Thomas’ first game as a visitor at Sleep Train Arena, as if he didn’t have enough motivation to impress.
