Three things to ponder

1. All hands on deck

With Rudy Gay (knee) and Carl Landry (wrist) unavailable, the Kings could be down to nine healthy bodies against the Heat. If head coach Tyrone Corbin pushes ahead with the uptempo offense, fatigue may play a factor in the waning moments.

2. Glass cleaners

The Heat are the worst rebounding team in the NBA, averaging 37 per contest. The Kings have no reason not to dominate the glass, considering that the boards battle is one that they win very often. Sacramento sits seventh in the league in total rebounds per game.

3. Man in the middle

Hassan Whiteside’s unlikely emergence this season has taken the world by storm. The Ex-King and one-time NBA washout is producing 13.8 points, 10.2 rebounds and 3.5 blocks per game in the month of January. Whiteside makes his anticipated return to Sacramento, and no one is more excited to face the center than DeMarcus Cousins. Both big men joined the Kings in the 2010 draft.
