The Kings’ injury report for today’s matchup against the San Antonio Spurs.

  • Cowbell Kingdom has confirmed that DeMarcus Cousins will miss tonight’s game with a left ankle sprain and left hip contusion.  The 24-year-old center took a beating in Wednesday’s win over the Memphis Grizzlies and began the day as doubtful for tonight’s contest against the Spurs.  Cousins went down with a little over eight minutes remaining against the Grizzlies, but was able to stay in long enough to knock down a pair of free throws.  He later returned to the game only to foul out with 46.3 seconds remaining.  Cousins is day-to-day.
  • Darren Collison is out with a core muscle injury.  He has an appointment in Philadelphia on Monday with Dr. William Myers and will likely undergo surgery on Tuesday.  Collison will be reevaluated in three to six weeks, but his return this season is in doubt.
  • Rookie forward Eric Moreland is out for the season with a left shoulder labral tear. He made three appearances, totaling two minutes of action in the NBA this season.  He is out of his sling and has been able to begin his rehab.  Barring a setback, he should be healthy in time for Summer League in Las Vegas.
