Just as the clock hit 4:00 pm EST, the trade winds came rushing through Philadelphia yet again. According to Adam Schefter of ESPN, the Philadelphia Eagles sent quarterback Nick Foles to the St. Louis Rams in exchange for former number one pick quarterback Sam Bradford. The trade will also include draft picks, which is still being sorted out.

Both Bradford and Foles are coming off injury which kept them off the field for extended time. Bradford, who missed all of last season with an ACL injury had played in 49 career games for the Rams and has passed for over 11,000 yards. The questions with Bradford are his huge rookie contract and health. Are those two things the Eagles willing to risk? Eagles fans are highly confused because they are salivating over the fact that Oregon Duck and Chip Kelly understudy Marcus Mariota might be wearing midnight green this upcoming season.

Foles was 14-4 under Chip Kelly but never seemed to gain the team’s trust. The Eagles lost Foles to a shoulder injury halfway through the season and have since been riding the arm of Mark Sanchez, who led the team to a run just short of making the playoffs.

So what is Chip Kelly orchestrating in South Philly? We just have to wait and see because at the moment fans and analysts alike are pretty perplexed at all these moves.

Here is an update from Schefter:

At 6:48 pm ET, here are details of the Eagles-Rams trade with draft picks:
