Three things to ponder

1. D-stress test

After losing to the Hawks on Monday, the Kings face another high-powered offense in the Clippers. Dead-eye shooter Jamal Crawford (calf) will sit out, but Los Angeles has no shortage of weapons. The Kings surrendered 121.5 points per loss to the Clippers this season, but only 92 in their sole win, which proves again the gravity of defense.

2. 3-point struggles

Versus the Clippers this schedule, the Kings have shot a combined 12-of-44 (27.3 percent) from downtown. Los Angeles is tough on the perimeter but even tougher inside, allowing the NBA’s third-least points in the paint per game, so Sacramento must keep them honest.

3. Bad blood

It’s public knowledge that the Kings and Clippers don’t hold each other in the highest regard. Between Chris Paul, DeMarcus Cousins, Spencer Hawes and several other prideful personalities, things are likely to get chippy.
