Round 16 is nearly upon us — we only have until 8:00PM Central Time TODAY to make our final roster moves. Thankfully, unlike last week, we have plenty of teams to choose from. Only Columbus and Chicago are on a bye this week, leaving 18 MLS rosters available.

It’s no surprise, but this was the most asked question. Dempsey’s actions in the US Open Cup are the reason that I have not made any transfers yet; we’re all waiting to find out exactly what kind of action US Soccer is going to take for his tantrum. I won’t be surprised at all if US Soccer hands down a suspension — in fact, I expect it to happen. However, I think the suspension will only be within the scope of the US Open Cup. But it’s US Soccer and MLS, so we won’t know for sure until they tell us. (Editor’s note: Dempsey has now been suspended for 3 MLS games.)
@Sk_Zizou Is BWP a good pick? Who’ll be your “out of the box” punts for mega DGW17?
BWP is definitely a good pick. RBNY are eventually going to get out of their slump, and playing against NYC and RSL in the Round 17 DGW might just be what they need to make it happen.
As far as “out-of-the-box” picks, I already made mine in Round 15: Wandrille Lefèvre. He is dirt cheap and has been earning consistent points playing CB next to Ciman. Having him in my midfield frees up some cash to pick up my GW 16 MUST HAVE: Sebastian Giovinco.

@Not_Cookie_Boy Need a $9.5 Forward – Nemeth, Davies, Rivero, Bruin, Torres, Sapong, Larin?
Nemeth and Bruin have been on fire lately, but I don’t like their match-ups over the next two weeks. Luke Moore is a sneaky pick — it looks like he’s taken the starting spot from Findley, and with three home games in the next two weeks, could score big.

Fantasy-wise, probably Matt Miazga, based on NYRB upcoming fixtures and Miagza’s good numbers this season.
@Sk_Zizou Do you think Bradley, Morrow can outscore Mears, BWP in next 2 GWs?
I’d call that one a toss-up. I like all four of those players over the next two weeks. I think BWP has the highest ceiling of the four, though… followed closely by Bradley.
