The Sacramento Kings have listed their NBA Summer League roster and will host a local mini-camp prior to the 10-day Las Vegas event, according to the team’s press release.
The group is far from obscure. Current Kings Nik Stauskas, Willie Cauley-Stein and Eric Moreland will attend, along with Reno Bighorns call-ups Sim Bhullar, David Stockton and David Wear.
Former NBA veterans James Anderson, DeAndre Liggins and Julyan Stone will participate.
More familiar names include Alex Oriakhi, who the Kings acquired in the Isaiah Thomas trade last July and played on the reigning Sacramento Summer League championship squad. He spent the 2014-15 regular season in Lithuania.
Duje Dukan, Corey Hawkins, Shaquielle McKissic and Juwan Staten worked out for the Kings before this year’s draft and are on the roster.
The team will be head coached by Kings assistants Chad Iske and John Welch. Vance Walberg and Corliss Williamson round out the staff.
The mini-camp will run from July 7-9. The Kings play their first Summer League contest July 10 versus the Raptors, followed by the Nuggets on July 12 and the Warriors July 13. Additional games will be scheduled after the initial three matches.
