Matt Simms backwards throw was worse than Dan Orlovsky safety

I know I’m being extremely controversial here, but hear me out: Quarterback Matt Simms threw a football 15-20 yards in the wrong fucking direction. The only thing he’s got going for him is that it was not a regular season game and everybody was watching the Michigan/Jim Harbaugh opener.

Orlovsky’s own safety was really bad, and what was worse is that he didn’t realize it for way too long, but that was bound to happen to the 2008 Lions starting at their own one-inch line.  Simms lost the Bills a total of 38 (!!) yards on the play and the Lions capitalized by scoring a game-winning touchdown.

Yes, preseason and nobody noticed, but it was worse. And best of all, Orlovsky was on the other sideline to watch. Full circle.
