The main event on this multiple boxing event will be undefeated heavyweight Greg Corbin (8-0, 4 KO’s) from Dallas, Texas against Roberto “El Volcan” Santos (12-2 ) from Tamaulipas, Mexico. If anyone has ever seen Corbin fight before, get set for some heavy punching between these two heavyweights. Corbin won his last fight by unanimous decision in 2015 and captured the USA Texas State Heavyweight title in Dallas. This time he will be challenging Santos for the North American Midwest Association Heavyweight Championship belt.
Also on the card is the heavy-handed Alex Del Bosque (11-2, 8KO’s), from Monterrey Mexico, in a lightweight match against Angel Hernandez. Del Bosque always puts on a great show and he is one of the hardest punchers in the ring. Del Bosque has a 62% knockout percentage so expect to see fists flying with bad intentions.
In the super middleweight match of the evening, Mike Tufariello (4-2-2, 4 KO’s) from Huntington, New York will be punching it out with Gregorio Garza. When you see a fight with Tufariello it always adds the potential of a knockout in the early rounds. It could come from a punch to the head or to the body, depending on his opponent. Tufariello enters the ring after his latest win in 2015 against Eddie Tiggs in Arlington, Texas and this should be one of the best fights on the card.
In a special ladies match, Dallas’ Samantha Salazar, who fights out of the United Boxing Gym in Dallas, Texas, will be entering the ring for her pro debut against Shurreta Metcalf.
Middleweight Christopher Jones (4-1, 3KO’s) from Dallas, Texas takes on Anthony Bowman in a scheduled six round fight. Welterweight Brandon Flowers steps into the ring against Osvaldo Negrete. Austin Dulay puts on the gloves against Super Lightweight Carlos Orenday. Quantavious Green goes against Juan Peck in a battle of 145 pounders.
