Celtics Pick Up 11th Straight Home Win

The Celtics right now are hot and nobody can stop them. With last night’s 100-95 victory over the Jazz the Celtics are now on an 11 win streak when playing at the TD Garden. We could have called last night the “Block Party” because the Celtics racked up a season best of 13 blocks. Including Avery Bradley’s clutch block over Gordon Howard who attempted to hit a shot that would have put the Jazz in the lead with just 30.4 seconds to go.

In his post-game interview Bradley would go on to talk about guarding 6-foot-8 Howard saying “I love to take that challenge, to be able to get a stop for our team, because I want to win the game that bad.” He would also latter go on to say that “I’ll guard anybody for my team.”

Howard was quick to admit Bradley got him as he said “He timed it really well,” and “It was a good play.”

For the first time in a couple of years the Celtics are a fun team to watch, I really look forward to watching every game they play in. This is compared to last year and the year before when we were really rebuilding and some of the games were very hard to watch.

The Celtics right now have proven that they will put up a fight with any other team in the NBA and are a force to be reckoned with in the Eastern Conference. The Celtics currently stand at 3rd in the East with a 36-25 record just 3 games behind the Raptors for second. They will take on the Portland Trail Blazers tomorrow night at the TD Garden.
