Pirates Breakdown is seeking talented and enthusiastic writers to join their team

When we left RumBunter and started Pirates Breakdown, we knew we could pioneer a different type of independent media outlet that covers the Pittsburgh Pirates. One built on quality insight that would make its readership think, question and feel differently about their favorite team. By and large, we’ve accomplished that.

Now, we’re ready to take it to the next level. To do that, we need your help.

Pirates Breakdown is a fantastic destination for writers at all levels. Whether you write about sports as a hobby or are a serious journalist, we might have a spot for you. We’re looking for a wide range of candidates, from the hardcore statheads to the folks who just have a lot to say about the Pirates.

Writing experience is preferred, but not entirely necessary for the right candidate. WordPress experience is a big plus. We offer a fun, collaborative environment, solid organizational support behind you and more.
