Pirates Breakdown Announces Wall-to-Wall Trade Deadline Coverage with Trademas In July

Pittsburgh Pirates Trade Rumors to Receive Expanded Coverage

In a past life, the team behind Pirates Breakdown covered the MLB Trade Deadline with a very unique format.

The “12 Days of Trademas” focused on a different potential trade target – or targets – each day. We provided you with the case for – and the case against – each potential target. We did this for the 12 days leading up to the MLB Trade Deadline, and the result was an opportunity to drive the conversation among Pittsburgh Pirates fans.

Now, Pirates Breakdown is happy to announce a natural expansion of that concept brought on by the unique situation the Pittsburgh Baseball Club finds itself in.

Announcing “Trademas In July”

The Pirates may end up as buyers and sellers at this trade season ramps up. As such, you deserve the kind of trade coverage that we can provide.

Starting Tuesday, and continuing each and every day between now and the August 1st deadline, our editorial team will delve into topics and concepts revolving around the ever-evolving MLB trade market, and how they relate to the Pittsburgh Pirates. We’ll start by exploring the realistic trade market for one Jon Niese, followed by an honest look at the needs of the club. From there, we’ll explore the top trade chips throughout the organization, and begin exploring individual targets shortly there after.
