NFL: Week 8 Daily Fantasy Prep

img_2928

With some perfect picks last week IAFL brings you week 8! Jeremy Hill was a big notable for us last week and he produced. Brandon Marshall was the sir for the week and we made right on that bet as well. This week is the worst Sunday for football because there are 6 byes and few games but it no matter what we will cover! Remember, notables are cheaper picks that could go off instead of spending extra money for big dawgs. Which reminds me! End of the article will feature some new content so read till the end!
Redskins vs Bengals

Notables – Robert Kelley 5100

                 Brandon Lafell 6000

                 Jeremy Hill 6500

He’s back and still cheap. Hill scared a lot of owners looking like he was in intense pain but no injury reports to show anything big. Matt Jones is out and the better back(in my opinion)undrafted Robert Kelley is in. I like him as a bargain pick but it’s a tough matchup against a solid Bengals defense.

Cardinals vs Panthers

Notables – JJ Nelson 4500

                 Devin Funchess 4800

                 Jonathan Stewart 6100

Jj Nelson is the epitome of boom or bust but his speed truly makes him a weapon. He’s sooooo cheap and is getting the targets, even with Brown back I like him. Funchess is the hype machine but this week Kelvin will be covered by Patrick Peterson who’s been doing an amazing job covering all of his targets so I see Funchess getting on the board and Stewart getting them to the redzone.

Lions vs Texans

Notables – Alfred Blue 4500

                 Anquan Boldin 5800

                 Matt Stafford 7700

Boldin has been producing 8-10 point games and has been a key factor. Now he’s getting redzone looks and this game should be a shoot out. Miller is a game time decision and if he does play could get minimal snaps, Blue could be worth it against a pedestrian Lions run defense.

Seahawks vs Saints

Notables – Michael Thomas 5700

                 Cj Prosise 4600

                 Jimmy Graham 6700

Graham is truly coming to his own and Saints defense is truly a pushover. Prosise could have an active day since Wilson has a pec injury and may not be able to throw the deep ball, alas, Prosise is the pass catching back. Michael Thomas is right now the most active WR on the Saints and that should continue as Sherman will be covering Cooks.

Chiefs vs Colts

Notables – Donte Moncreif 5400

                 Jack Doyle 4900

                 Alex Smith 6800

Jack Doyle has been a monster lately and he’s also one of the cheapest starting tight ends in daily fantasy. Mind you Chiefs D has been great against the tight end though. But the real story is Donte Moncrief coming back! This guy was on pace for a monster year until he got injured and I don’t think he will miss a step. Expect a big one!

Jets vs Browns

Notables – Josh McCown 6400

                 Ryan Fitzpatrick 7300

                 Quincy Enunwa 6100

This is the one. The Browns will finally get their win and it will be a shoot out! Enunwa has an amazing matchup since even if Haden does play, he will be on Marshall most of the game. McCown LOVES Gary Barnidge and since Jets secondary is piss poor expect a big game out of Terrell Pryor.

Patriots vs Bills

Notables – Tyrod Taylor 7600

                 Robert Woods 5300

                 Dion Lewis

Obviously Lewis isn’t playing but keep your eye out for him. He just started practicing again and if you remember last year, he was the king of dump offs. Marquise Goodwin is out this week and I think Woods finally has a decent game. The Bills should be down most of the game so Tyrod should have plenty of opportunity to get it done or blow it for fantasy.

Raiders vs Buccaneers

Notables – Jameis Winston 7400

                 Latavius Murray 6200

                 Jacquizz Rodgers 6600

Jameis has an amazing schedule coming up and this could start his reign of the second half. I’m not as high on him as fellow analysts but the schedules do not lie. Murray is an RB1 this matchup easily and it seems he also gets into the end zone every week he plays. Now comes down to Rodgers. He is absolutely running his heart out and had over 100 yards in the first half alone last week! While Martin is out he is a must start.

Chargers vs Broncos

Here’s the section of my article where I need to write a paragraph instead of note and this ones a doozy. The Chargers may have won 2 weeks ago but I am not starting anyone this week against the Broncos. Expect a near shut out especially for Hunter Henry. Rivers could be serviceable and if anyone scores it could be Gates. I do NOT like the Chargers! With that being said Devontae Booker. DEVONTAE BOOKER! With the placement of Cj Anderson in injured reserve Booker will be getting a full workload and will absolutely make the best of it. I really think this will be a blow out and Booker is the only player on either team I’d put into a daily fantasy lineup.

Packers vs Falcons

Notables – Davonte Adams 6600

                 Ty Montgomery 6400

                 Jacob Tamme 5300

Cobb is struggling with hamstring issues and Jordy has been lackluster at best(compared to his normal self)so I see Adams getting into the redzone and getting plenty or receptions. Tamme is still Ryan’s favorite redzone target and I expect a shootout. 2 powerhouse offenses and 1 game to win. Should be the game of the week.

Now it’s time for…..

Big dawg to START! – Start Deandre Hopkins. He has been so terrible lately but this is the matchup he breaks out. I’d spend the extra money to make sure he’s in my lineup this week.

Big dawg to SIT! – Brandon Cooks. Richard Sherman will be on Cooks so he could only see a few receptions. But for some reason I think Cooks MAYBE has a deep touchdown pass since Sherman seems to have lost a small step. But I am not going out to start him.

BOLD PREDICTION OF THE WEEEEEEEEEEK!!!!!

Get this… Josh McCown and Ryan Fitzpatrick BOTH go for 300+ and 2 td each!

That wraps up this weeks daily fantasy article, tune in next week for your favorite analyst giving you the picks!
