Eagles to be without Bennie Logan, Taylor Hart against Giants

The Philadelphia Eagles are looking for their first NFC East win tomorrow afternoon against the New York Giants, but will be without two players on the defensive line.

Earlier today, the Eagles announced that both defensive linemen Bennie Logan and Taylor Hart have been downgraded to out for tomorrow’s game.

This is a huge blow to the Eagles’ defensive line as Logan has not played since Week 6 due to a groin injury. This season, Logan has seven total tackles, two sacks, a forced fumble, and has played 35.1 percent of defensive snaps.

On the other hand, Hart is out with an ankle injury and his injury hurts the Eagles in the depth department on the defensive line. The Eagles, recently claimed Hart off of waivers from the San Francisco 49ers on October 24.

Before being claimed by the 49ers and placed on their practice squad for a short time, Hart was one of the Eagles’ final cuts this preseason. Last season, as a rookie, Hart had 27 total tackles and played 27 percent of defensive snaps.

With Logan and Hart out, expect Beau Allen and Destiny Vaeao to get a lot of snaps at the defensive tackle spot.
