Pittsburgh and Clemson battled it out in the game of the day on Saturday, which ended with the No. 3-ranked team in the country, falling 43-42.

The Tigers suffered their first loss of the season at the worst possible time, as it seemed as if they had gotten their most difficult games out of the way already.

Don’t tell that to the Panthers, who fought until the final whistle to pull off the thrilling win.

Chris Blewitt drained a 48-yard field goal with just seconds remaining to silence the crowd at Death Valley, and Panthers players stormed the field afterward. They kept the celebrating going in the locker room.

There was a lot of reason to celebrate, that’s for sure.
