Eagles Weekly Recap: Week 10, injury round-up, roster moves, and more

Philadelphia Eagles v Detroit Lions

Welcome to this week’s edition of the Eagles Weekly Recap. Coming off of another loss on the year, the Eagles are looking to turn the clocks back to the time of their early 2016 success. Let’s get into it:

  • This afternoon, the Philadelphia Eagles will host Matt Ryan and the Atlanta Falcons. The big story of today’s game will be the ever-so-dangerous pairing or Ryan and wide receiver Julio Jones against a thin corps of Eagles cornerbacks. Today will surely be a test of how well Jim Schwartz’s defense can match up with a top-ranked offense.

  • Speaking of the Eagles’ cornerback corps, cornerback Leodis McKelvin was said to have a setback regarding his previously-suffered hamstring injury and was limited in practice. Also on the injury front, defensive tackle Bennie Logan is expected to make his return this afternoon after missing time with a groin injury while tackle Allen Barbre remains sidelined.

  • Following the release of wide receiver Josh Huff, the Eagles have signed cornerback Aaron Grymes off their practice squad to fill the open spot on the 53-man roster.

  • As for Huff himself, the former Eagle found a new home in no time as the Tampa Bay Buccaneers signed him to their practice squad earlier this week.

That’s it for this week. Stay tuned with Total Sports Live for the latest involving the Philadelphia Eagles.
