The San Antonio Spurs knew their three game East coast trip would not be easy. Down to the final game it was anything but. However,  a team effort saw them stay perfect on the road and extend their win streak.

LaMarcus Aldridge had 24 points as the Spurs earned a 112-100 win over the Washington Wizards inside the Verizon Center on Saturday night, improving to 10-0 away from home.

Tony Parker added a season-high 20 points and Kawhi Leonard scored 19 for San Antonio, who won their ninth straight game. Patty Mills added 13 off the bench and Jonathon Simmons had 15 as the Silver and Black bench outscored Washington 35-18.

The Wizards were led by Bradley Beal’s 25 points. John Wall added 21 for Washington (5-10), who had their two-game winning streak snapped after playing back-to-back games.

San Antonio improved to 7-0 with their ‘normal’ starting five of Aldridge, Leonard, Parker, Danny Green and Pau Gasol. The Spurs were without Manu Ginobili (rest) and Dwayne Dedmon missed his sixth straight game with a knee injury.

Up next: The Spurs are now 14-3 on the season and will return to the court on Tuesday when they welcome the Orlando Magic to the AT&T Center at 7:30 p.m.
