It is that time of year yet again where the playoff hunt is in full swing. As the Patriots will play what is probably one of their hardest games of the year against the Ravens Monday night. They will have playoff seeding on their minds. as the Patriots are currently right on the heels of the first-place Raiders they can still clinch the AFC East Division and even the first round bye. Here is what needs to happen.
To clinch the AFC East:
- Patriots win + Dolphins loss or tie OR 2. Patriots tie + Dolphins loss
To clinch the first round bye:
1. Patriots win + Dolphins loss or tie + Steelers loss or tie
It may seem like a little bit of a stretch for the Patriots to clinch the first round bye this week as the Dolphins will be taking on the underachieving Cardinals. The Steelers will be taking on the Bills.
