NFC East Title & 1st-round bye: Cowboys Win + Giants Loss
NFC East Title & Homefield advantage: Cowboys Win + Lions@Giants Tie
So, realistically, the Cowboys best bet would be the NFC East title with the 1st-round bye. The homefield advantage scenario is unlikely.
I’m not so sure the Lions win that game at Metlife, I don’t see it happening. So, the Cowboys will need to keep the foot on the pedal for the remainder of the season, and there is nothing wrong with that. It may be exactly what this young team needs especially after last weeks poor performance offensively.
