The Oregon Ducks defeated Michigan, albeit just barely. With a score of 69-68, Michigan’s incredible tournament has come to an end.
Michigan had the lead with under 2:00 minutes to play, but couldn’t hold on at the end. Oregon took the lead on a Tyler Dorsey layup with just over a minute to go. The Wolverines had several attempts to retake the lead. Even after Oregon missed a free throw in the final seconds, Michigan was unable to capitalize.
Michigan’s run is still an impressive one. They took out Louisville in the round of 32, a team that was ranked 2nd in their bracket.
