Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf combined for close to 200(!) tennis titles throughout their careers, so it makes sense that their oldest son got some of their athletic prowess, right?

You know…apples not falling far from trees and all.

But, Jaden Agassi isn’t about to hit the court…dude is a pitcher. And Monday, news broke that the high school sophomore has verbally committed to play baseball for USC.

The junior Agassi won’t graduate high school for a few years, but you better believe pops is ecstatic the 15-year-old will eventually be hitting the mound for the Trojans rather than swinging a racket.

“You’ll never see second-generation champions in tennis. People who go through it don’t want it for their kids,” Agassi said in a 2016 interview. “There’s a big gene pool out there, and there’s a lot more to life than just being great at something.”
